"God and Human Sexuality" by Dave Miller, Phd

Excerpt:

Illicit sex is just one more departure from God's will that American civilization is facing. God identified all departures from His will pertaining to sexual intercourse as "fornication." The underlying Greek term, porneia, is a broad term that covers every form of illicit sexual intercourse, including adultery, incest, bestiality, bigamy, polygamy, bisexuality, necrophilia, and more. Our sex-crazed society is so promiscuous, and so estranged from God's view of human sexuality, that our public schools consider it appropriate to teach children to simply "take precautions" when they engage in sexual escapades outside of marriage. But God never encouraged people to practice "safe sex." Rather, He instructed people to exercise self-control, self-discipline, and moral responsibility. The Bible teaches that we are not to be self-indulgent. We are to put restraints on ourselves, and control our sexual urges and desires according to God's will.

"Does Christianity Produce 'Sexual Misery'?" by Eric Lyons M.Min.

Excerpt:

Even though most Christians in twenty-first-century America recognize that we live in a sex-crazed society, it seems we rarely consider how Divine regulations concerning "sexual relations" are a chief reason why unbelievers reject Christianity. Now, author Chaz Bufe has specifically mentioned "sexual misery" as a negative by-product of Christianity, and one of the main reasons why Christ and His doctrine should be rejected. In a pamphlet he wrote titled 20 Reasons to Abandon Christianity, Bufe listed "Christianity produces sexual misery" as reason number ten.

"Sex Education Gone Crazy" by Eric Lyons M.Min.

Excerpt:

Since the 1960s (when "comprehensive sex education" began to infiltrate schools and government programs) billions of dollars have been allocated to health departments and other government entities partly for the purpose of educating America's youth about "safe sex." Conducting federally funded, abstinence-based, sex-education classes in public schools, however, is considered by the ACLU and others to be "fiscally irresponsible" ("Sign on Letter..., 2005). Even the 2005 updated teen-pregnancy policy released by the American Academy of Pediatrics no longer includes the phrase "abstinence counseling is an important role for all pediatricians" ("Doctors Denounce...," 2005).
